Timecode, show control, OSC
Entertainment production is a collaborative industry, and the lighting team isn’t the only department contributing to the audience experience. Eos uses many show control languages to talk, listen and coordinate with other systems in your venue to
keep your performance on track. If you want to automate playback or handle complex sequences that are too fast to call, simply sync Eos to your time code device. For one-off events, Eos can accept triggers from MIDI show control (MSC), MIDI notes,
Open Sound Control (OSC), or analog contacts – and it can even trigger actions in other systems.
Macros & Automation
Almost anything you can do manually in the system can be automated with a macro. Macros let you speed up repetitive command line syntaxes or automate complicated tasks, allowing you to more deftly interact with your rig.
Macros can be manually fired, linked to playback, or be triggered by outside show control sources to automate complicated sequences without the need for a user to intervene.

Multi-user environments
Sometimes you need more than one pair of hands on a programming job. Eos Family consoles and controllers are capable of handling up to 99 discrete users, each with their own partitioned segment of the show file*. On a large-scale, multi-programmer
show, you can split up your rig by fixture type to speed the tech process. In a TV studio, immersive production, or other multi-room venue, you can maintain separate programmers and cue lists for each space. Either way, multi-user environments
ensure that all users have access to the fixtures they need without getting in each other’s way.
