Import Timed Event

LightDesigner provides the ability to import timed events into a configuration file using the "Import Timed Events" feature found in the Project menu. The typical use of this import feature is to allow reuse of timed events that were previously exported from a LightDesigner configuration.

LightDesigner exports and imports timed events in Extensible markup Language (*.xml) format only.

1. Import timed events by selecting "Import Data > Timed Events" from the "Project" menu. The "Import Timed Events" window will display for folder selection where the file(s) is located. LightDesigner accepts only xml files for timed events import.
2. Browse to the folder location and click [Open]. LightDesigner will import the timed events data and post them into the Timed Events view for further edit and assignment.
