The Paradigm Central Control Server (P-CCS) provides a physically separate network interface for communicating with third-party BACnet devices using the industry standard BACnet protocol (ASHRAE/ANSI Standard 135).
The BACnet interface supports the use of standard BACnet object types of binary inputs, binary outputs, analog inputs and analog outputs for generic control. Paradigm provides access for up to 1,000 of each of the four standard object types. For more information, reference "Configuring BACnet I/O".
The BACnet interface also allows for control of proprietary Paradigm objects including spaces, channels, groups, presets, macros, overrides, viewing and editing of all timed events, and view of Net3 error status reported by the Net3 Conductor Network Services Gateway. These functions combine and provide a complete and robust interface to the Paradigm lighting control system.
Reference BACnetPICS for details on the BACnet Protocol Implementation Conformance Statement (PICS).
