New Server Project Properties is important system level related information such as the job name (consider the system-wide project name), job number, revision number, address and site contact information.
When saved, the LightDesigner server project filename is based on the job name, job number and revision specified in these properties.
Note: The job name is required before the wizard will allow progression through to the next display. The job number and revision are optional, but when supplied are a suffix to the filename. A server project saves as a *.spcf file type.
Tip: Changing the revision number from the Property Editor at any time after the project is created will display a "Save as" dialog, allowing multiple revisions of the same configuration.
Choosing the nearest city from the drop down box will assist LightDesigner's integration of the astronomical timeclock settings for the server project configuration. If manual coordinates is selected, you will be required to provide specific coordinates in the s once you begin configuration for the project.
The remaining data fields are optional but are also important as they are saved with the configuration and are uploaded to the Paradigm ACP for reference in the About menu.
The Date and Software Version fields are read only. The Filename field at the bottom of the page displays the directory path where the new server project will save. To change the directory, click the [...] button to the right of the path.
Click [Next] to progress through the wizard to Add a Project to the Server Project.
