The System Estimator creates visual feedback of how your system resources are being utilized.
The System Estimator provides only a rule of thumb level of approximation for system performance. This estimated data of your system can be viewed either per processor or per project using the available filtering options. See Processor View and Project View for more information. In addition, when the configuration is a server system (meaning a Paradigm Central Control Processor (P-CCS) is utilized), you can view the server wide project estimations.
Paradigm projects and their associated processors have capacity limits that when observed result in an optimized system during operation. For a listing of project and system capacities, see System Requirements and Capacities. It is recommended that you consult ETC Professional Services for additional guidance when configuring a large system.
When configuring a system, it is helpful to refer back to this System Estimator for visual indication of whether you are within the acceptable capacities or if you are exceeding or near exceeding the capacities of either the processor, a project, or an entire server project when using a Paradigm Central Control Server (P-CCS).
