Philipp Schaeffer
General Manager of ETC GmbH
Philipp Schaeffer attended university in Karlsruhe, Germany, graduating in 1996 with a master’s degree in electrical engineering, with an emphasis in lighting. He started working as an architectural-lighting consultant in Cologne, and then moved on to a startup company in Munich, where he set up Internet-based platforms for the construction industry.
In 2002, Schaeffer joined ETC GmbH in Germany. In 2004, he became the manager of the Research and Development department, and in 2005, the Projects department was combined under his leadership. In 2007, he was named the general manager of ETC GmbH.
