ETC controls command respect at Lightfair
Date Posted: 5/22/2019
ETC delivers a can’t-miss booth at Lightfair, with a host of products that make modern lighting look better, perform more efficiently, and respond more easily to environmental cues and commands. With a superior LED dimming solution for legacy systems, award-winning Fade to Warm
incandescent-mimicking technology, and wireless sensors and controllers that make CCT implementation easy, ETC solidifies its position as an innovator in lighting controls. These solutions and more new products can all be found during Lightfair at ETC’s booth #3515.
The new PhaseAdept module brings ETC’s legendary dimming quality to modern fixtures. PhaseAdept produces smooth, continuous control no matter the fixture type, features forward- and reverse-phase dimming options, and has multiple dimming curve
settings. It also works with existing systems to keep lighting infrastructure intact while upgrading the fixtures. ETC’s new DataTrack
Backbone gives designers the sleek lines and unobtrusive mounting options they need with the ability to use full-sized fixtures to create those special looks.
ETC’s ArcSystem line continues to push the envelope of what high-quality LEDs can do in architectural settings. With the Pro
One-Cell Small luminaire (4-inch ceiling cutout aperture) and the Pro
One-Cell Micro (3-inch aperture), ArcSystem offers flexible sizing for any application. ArcSystem’s Fade
to Warm technology – a 2018 Production Innovation Award winner from Architectural SSL magazine – is now in more fixtures than ever. This ground-breaking technology allows LEDs to mimic the red shift and naturally warm appearance of incandescent lamps. ArcSystem luminaires have expanded their
color temperature range, with fixtures
available in 2700 K, 3000 K, 3500 K, 4000 K or 5000 K options. All fixtures, including multi-cell ones, now have a 100V-277V power option, allowing luminaires and drivers to be hardwired for permanent installations, an ideal option for commercial spaces
using a higher voltage range. A new, wired-only version of all ArcSystem luminaires is also available, and comes complete with DMX/RDM capability.
Echoflex Solutions, an ETC company, brings wireless innovation to Lightfair with new sensors and controllers that are designed to make it easy to use the advanced features of LED lighting. The TAP-31 Photo Sensorfeatures two selectable ranges – 0-1024 lux (95 fc) and 0-65535 lux (6090 fc) –
perfect for open- or closed-loop daylighting applications. It pairs perfectly with the new ELED3 Tri-Zone Fixture Controller. The ELED3 includes three 0-10V low-voltage dimming channels, ideal for areas with multiple daylighting zones. Making their debut at Lightfair, the TAP-41 Photo Sensor with CCT sensors
and the ELED2 Fixture Controlleroffer an easy way to incorporate variable color tunable fixtures and human centric lighting into any installation. Echoflex’s new Multi-Button Interface (MBI) offers multiple zone control in a sleek, one-gang-size form factor with two-, four-, and eight-button models.
In addition to lighting innovation, ETC is an industry leader in safety, offering the most complete line of emergency lighting products of any manufacturer. To help designers and engineers build a safe system that meets the myriad of regulations governing emergency lighting
systems ETC has developed an Emergency
Lighting Design Guide. The only one of its kind, this guide lays out the concepts of emergency lighting, reviews the code guidelines, and offers risers of sample systems, helping engineers draft safe and efficient emergency lighting systems.
And of course ETC’s core architectural lines – Unison
Paradigm, Echo,
Mosaic and Foundry will be represented as well. Unison Paradigm offers centralized control – now with a mobile boost. The Paradigm
Remote app that mimics any touchscreen controller on the network and brings mobile control to a system. Advances in the Echo line of advanced distributed controls and the Foundry line of DMX-driven controls will also be on display.
All of these products and the entire line of ETC, ArcSystem, and Echoflex Solutions architectural lighting solutions can be examined at ETC’s Lightfair booth #3515.
