ETC to exhibit new products at NATEXPO 2017 tradeshow

ETC will have its own stand at the NATEXPO tradeshow, October 25th to 27th, at the VDNH exhibition center in Moscow. Visitors to booth A41 in the Bavarian pavilion will have the opportunity to check out the latest ETC lighting solutions designed specifically for the unique requirements of television and film. ETC will also participate in the DNK seminar for lighting professionals working in the broadcast market.

At the NATEXPO tradeshow, ETC will display the Source Four LED Series 2 system, which transforms to fit any position in the studio, thanks to a range of adapters, accessories and lens tubes that can be added to Source Four LED Series 1 and Series 2 light engines. The Source Four LED family also includes the Source Four LED Fresnel, which allows the light engines to create soft washes with smooth coverage, and the Source Four LED CYC with highly tuned optics to provide incredibly smooth, evenly-distributed coverage, without visible gaps. “There’s a Source Four LED for any lighting task,” says ETC Technical Sales Specialist Vladimir Kraynov. “And the light engines create the brightest colors or adjustable white light that naturally illuminates skin tones. On top of that, the fixtures’ flicker-free mode is great for high-speed and rolling-shutter cameras, so Source Four LED light looks great in person and on camera.”

On stand A41, ETC specialists will show you all the features of the new Ion Xe desk. Ion Xe consoles bring high-level, award-winning programming power to smaller venues. Тhe new consoles feature the same backlit keyboard layout as their larger Eos family siblings, so your workflow can transfer seamlessly from desk to desk. Ion Xe desks support up to external two multi-touch monitors, so you can take full hands-on advantage of color tools, Magic Sheets, Direct Selects and more. Ion Xe consoles feature full main playback controls, fader controls, level and rate wheels, four rotary parameter encoders and support for up to five USB-connectable wings and devices.

NATEXPO attendees will get to see ETC’s pole-operated yoke for LED luminaires. It works with the Source Four LED CYC adapter to provide pan and tilt functionality, with the Source Four LED Fresnel adapter for pan, tilt and zoom, and with five- to 90-degree fixed-focus lens tubes for pan, tilt and focus capabilities.

ETC will also show the ColorSource family, which brings a complete, high-quality LED lighting system with plug-and-play setup to studios and shoots with limited budgets. Available in two sizes with optional audiovisual capability, the ColorSource consoles provide hands-on control with the ability to run effects, mix LED colors, control moving lights and play back cues – all with the flick of a fader. The ColorSource Relay can wirelessly switch power and transmit DMX and RDM to hard-to-reach places. And the ColorSource Spot, ColorSource PAR, and ColorSource Linear luminaires can create bright light with the broadest color gamut possible from a four-color LED, thanks to their unique RGB-Lime emitter mix.

ETC is also going to take part in DNK’s “Modern Technology: TV and Film” seminar at Russian State Social University (RGSU) in Moscow’s S.A. Gerasimov All-Russia State Institute of Cinematography (VGIK). On Thursday, October 26th, ETC will give a presentation of its broadcast-lighting equipment, including Source Four LED Series 2 Daylight HD and Tungsten HD luminaires, the ColorSource family, and lighting-control systems.
