"Throughout my touring and corporate career, it’s been all Hogs since Hog 1 in the 1990s. I’ve been using Hog 4 on Santana for the past six years. I went to the little Road Hog 4 with an expander wing and the video wing to control a media server, and I can fit them more easily at the FOH in small places, such as theatres. I run everything from the wing, and with a smaller board I can reach and touch everything and it all fits on the table. I still use the Hog 3 Rock Wing with 20 faders and 20 executors with the Hog 4 with no problem.

My Hog and wing go everywhere around the world. The Change Type feature is a very good fixture cloner, so I can change the fixtures (from one manufacturer to another) and all the color mixing and position will line up. I used a lot of local lighting on the festivals last year, and the cloning really helped. I also like the way the palettes are laid out. I like the console. It’s what I know, it’s what I’ve been using for a long time. It’s like second nature. The customer support team is very responsive as well. "
