Installation

This installer is intended to install all the main components required for operation of a Net3 system at the time of GCE release. Before installation, check that your personal computer meets or exceeds the minimum requirements for this installation.

Note: As you install, please note the component list in the Product Versions table. If time has elapsed between release of GCE and your installation of GCE, it is possible that ETC may have released newer firmware for one or more of the products in your system. Refer to the ETC website (http://www.etcconnect.com/product.overview.aspx?ID=20370) for most up to date installers and device software.

Installation is simple, start by double-clicking the installer application. Then follow the installation wizard instructions. Below are the screens and the actions you will need to take for a successful installation.

Since this application installer includes both GCE and Net3 Services, you are provided installation mode options including "ETC Console Install" and "Standalone Install".

Net3 - ETC Console Install is designed to install Net3 Services on ETC lighting consoles such as the Eos and Congo family consoles.
Net3 - Standalone Install is designed to work with laptop or desktop computers that will be used with Net3 lighting networks. Always select this option and proceed with the installation wizard by clicking the [Next] button.

Tip: TIP: GCE can be installed and run on any Eos or Congo family console. Reference the related console user manual for instructions to launch GCE from the console.
