GCE v3.0 Rev A
Net3™ Gateway Configuration Editor (GCE) software offers a great range of features including sortable table views of all your gateways, individual tabs for different types of gateways, as well as storage of your configuration on your computer’s hard drive. GCE is perfect for configuring your Net3 devices over a standard Ethernet network.

New in this 3.0 release!
Net3 Gateway Configuration Editor (GCE) version 3.0 offers the following features and updates:
- The Net3 One-Port DMX Gateway (version 4.3 or newer) now supports ACN configuration.
- Improved configuration for Dimmer Doubled DMX outputs.
- GCE allows dimmer doubling for any port mode on the Net3 Two and Four-Port DMX gateways with version 5.1 or newer software.
- GCE allows dimmer doubling for a One-Port DMX gateway with version 4.3 or newer software, only when the port mode is not input.
- GCE supports user specification of the dimmer doubling offset value.
- GCE now includes firmware update files for the Wired Focus Remote (WFR).

- Port labels indicate the universe number instead of the port number on front display of the gateway LCD's.

Version 2.0 release
Net3 Gateway Configuration Editor version 2.0 offers many features and updates including:
- Conventional application navigation tools such as cut, copy, paste and enhanced drag and drop between tables for moving online device data to the "Device Configurations" table. This feature allows you to quickly identify new devices discovered on the network and save them to your configuration.
- Multiple selected devices or properties can be edited at once with the new multi-select feature.
- Improved keyboard navigation inside a table, cell to cell as well as in and out of "Edit mode" for a cell that is currently selected (in focus).
- Integrated context menu functions (right-click menus) have been added throughout the application for user convenience.
- The active table (table with focus) is easily recognizable with distinctive highlights.
- Flexible output patching allows any streaming ACN address to be assigned to a DMX range, and address assignments will wrap to the next streaming ACN universe for the length specified. This feature may be used with DMX Gateway's running version 3.0 software or later.
- Comma Separated Value (CSV) import and export capabilities from the (File) menu for spreadsheet editing of your gateway configuration.
- Implementation of new DMX/RDM gateway properties and functionality. Some of the updates include the following:
- Flexible Output Patching
- Maintain IP on Reboot
- Backlight settings are now supported in the Identity tab for each gateway type.
- Source Specific Hold Last Look Time now supported
- New work offline feature has been implemented for configuration creation/edit when the lighting network is not available.
The primary uses for GCE include, but are not limited to:
- Viewing your gateway’s online status and current configuration.
- Configuring your gateways.
- Storing/retrieving that configuration information on/from your computer.
- Updating the gateway software.
