ETCnomad Puck

ETCnomad Puck is a stand-alone controller for programming and show playback, and can be used with Eos or Cobalt family control systems. ETCnomad Puck can function as a primary, backup, or client device in compatible systems and ETCnomad Puck can be placed in mirror mode like any other client.

When you first open the ETCnomad Puck package, you will find the ETCnomad Puck controller, a bracket for wall/ VESA mount applications, and a power cord.

Outputs

ETCnomad Puck is available in the same capacities as ETCnomad. Note that the output may changed based on installed software versions. ETCnomad Puck at base makes an ideal small Remote Video Interface.

Communication

ETCnomad Puck communicates via Ethernet-based lighting protocols: Net3, ACN, sACN, and/ or Art-Net, or through the ETC Gadget USB to DMX converter.

ETCnomad Puck is compatible with ETC fader wings and OSC devices. ETCnomad Puck also supports connection with third-party USB-MIDI panels via Direct MIDI. See Getting Started for more information on USB-MIDI operation.

A single ETCnomad Puck has:

• Four USB ports
• One HDMI port
• One Mini Display Port (a Mini Display Port to HDMI converter is included)
• A single network connection

Choose your software platform

To get started setting up ETCnomad Puck, first determine which software platform you will be running. For more information, refer to the installation section of Cobalt and Eos software.
