Creating Control Groups

Control groups are available for use only in the "Advanced" LightDesigner access level.

Control groups are "groups of controls" that can be used by certain controls such as Record, Manual, and Take Control. The control group specifies what controls the action should take affect over. A control can only belong to a single control group at a time, although a control group can span multiple stations.

Assigning a control to a new control group will remove it from the current control group it was previously assigned.

Control Group Types

By default, all controls of a station are of the same control group. A control group allows you to group controls together so that multiple controls on multiple stations can be affected by record, manual, or take control actions. For instance, a control group could limit the record function to presets 5-7 on a given station.
