Export Equipment List

You can export equipment lists from a LightDesigner configuration for edit using an external spreadsheet editor, and then import the edited data back into the configuration for a more streamlined workflow. See Import Equipment List.

  1. Select Project > Export Data > Equipment List. The Export Equipment List window displays for folder selection where the file should be saved.
  2. Browse to the desired folder location and click [Select Folder]. LightDesigner exports the equipment list in OpenDocument Spreadsheet (*.ods) format and displays a dialog to directly open the folder containing the created list or close the dialog and continue normal operation.

Note: LightDesigner exports a separate equipment list for each project in a server configuration even if there is no actual equipment other than the basic processor and primary space data in the project.

The data shown in example above was exported directly from sample LightDesigner projects using the Projects>Export Data>Equipment List feature.

Note: If there are no Network Station Power Supplies, Echo Bridges, or Mosaic Shows in the configuration, the exported equipment list will not include empty categories.
