Export Presets

You can export presets from a LightDesigner configuration, edit the data in a spreadsheet format, and then reimport the edited data back into the configuration for a more streamlined workflow.

  1. Select Project>Export Data>Presets. The Export Presets window will display for folder selection where the file(s) should be saved.
  2. Browse to the desired folder location and click [Select Folder]. LightDesigner will export the presets list in OpenDocument Spreadsheet (*.ods) format and display a dialog to directly open the folder containing the created list or close the dialog and continue normal operation.

Note: LightDesigner exports a separate Presets list for each project in a server configuration even if there is no actual preset data in the project.

After exporting, you can edit the data in a spreadsheet, and then Import Presets back into the same configuration or into a new configuration.
