Import Timed Event

You can import timed events into a LightDesigner configuration file using the Project > Import Data > Timed Events menu. This feature allows reuse of timed events that were previously exported from a LightDesigner configuration. See Export Timed Events.

LightDesigner exports and imports timed events in Extensible markup Language (*.xml) format only.

1. Import timed events by navigating to Project > Import Data > Timed Events. The Import Timed Events window displays for folder selection where the import file is located. LightDesigner accepts only *.xml files for timed events import.
2. Browse to the folder location and click [Open]. LightDesigner will import the timed events data and post them into the Timed Events View for further edit and assignment.
