Space Properties

Selecting a space (either a primary space or sub-space) displays the properties for that space in the Property Editor.

Object Type - the type / style of object you have selected. This property is not selectable or editable.

Name - name of the selected space.

Geometry - size of the space (width and height) in pixels. If the space selected is a sub-space, the X and Y location of the space (in pixels) in relation to the primary space size is displayed as well.

0,0 is the top left corner of the space.

Background color - color of the background for the selected space.

Background Image - allows the import of a background image into the space. Using Background Image.

Opacity - the percentage of opacity of both the background color and the background image for the selected space. (0%= transparent background and 100%= fully opaque.)

Net3 Space - (available only in server projects) property set only when interfacing objects in the containing space with another ETC power product (e.g. Sensor 3) for measured energy usage reporting. The acceptable range for Net3 Space is 1-255.

Each Space (Primary and Sub-Space individually) is required to have a Net3 Space value if objects in the containing space will utilize measured energy, meaning circuits that are intended for measured energy usage (as opposed to calculated energy usage). When a Net3 Space is specified for the containing space, the object receives a new property in the Property Editor for specification of Net3 circuit value. Each object to be measured must have a unique Net3 Space and Net3 Circuit value.

Expose on BACnet - (available only in server projects) when enabled, exposes enabled proprietary object data to a BACnet client, reflects the state / condition and permits control.

Send BACnet UCOVs - (available only in server projects) when enabled, sends change of value messages of enabled proprietary objects which can be viewed using a BACnet client.

User Data - each object is provided with up to eight User Data Tags that can be used in object identification, such as Folders and Smart Folders filtering and spreadsheet sorts. These are labeled User Data 1, User Data 2, etc. by default, but the tags can be customized in the "Edit User Data Tags" option under the "Project Menu".

Runtime Properties - this is a "view only" property

Demand Response - displays the current Demand Response status
