Live Control

From the Program/Simulate view you can enter "Live Control". Live Control allows connection of your PC running LightDesigner to display status and control a connected Paradigm control system. System status includes Paradigm control only, channel input levels are not displayed or tracked from this control mode. While in Live Control you have the ability to control in real time any program attribute.

Initiate, Live Control from the tool bar by selecting the [Live Control] icon . When initiated, your PC will synchronize with the online Paradigm processor(s) and provide a dialog if the configurations are different. Follow the dialog to progress.

When connected in Live, any action initiated in simulation is also initiated live, such as activating a preset or sequence from a station in simulation or manually selecting a channel in the Plan workspace and bringing its intensity to a new level, changing wall state, etc.

To permanently edit configuration data in Live, you must initiate Live Edit Mode. Live Edit Mode.

Your PC IP setting must be properly configured to the same logical network as the Paradigm control system to initiate Live Control. Default IP settings for Paradigm systems is the 10.101. network.
