A sequence is a collection of user definable steps created from copies of presets or macros that are executed in a user definable timeline. A sequence can be played manually by button activation ([Start Sequence], [Pause Sequence], [Resume Sequence], [Stop Sequence]), automatically as a step in a macro, or triggered by a timed event.
To create a sequence, click the [Create Sequence] button in the toolbar or right-click in the Preset Directory and select "Create Sequence" from the context menu. The new sequence will be listed in the Browser and a new icon will display in the Preset Directory.
Note: A sequence is created empty, you must add steps to the new sequence.
The sequence must be placed in Edit mode before adding, modifying steps, or altering step timing.
Place the Sequence in "Edit" mode by pressing the [Edit] button (looks like a wrench) within the sequence icon located in the Preset Directory. The Sequence Editor tab will be in focus if it was previously stacked on a tab behind the Editor Spreadsheet.
Reference the Sequence Editor for details to create and edit the sequence steps and settings.
Playback a Sequence by pressing the "Start Sequence" button (looks like a play button) on the Sequence icon in the Preset Directory or the playback buttons in the Sequence Editor. Notice the play bar indicates progress on the timeline in the Sequence Editor.
An active Sequence can posses a number of states including:
