Device Configurations Table

The "Device Configurations" table displays the configuration information for gateways. Information displayed in this table is saved when you save a configuration to disk. This table also displays configuration information from files that are opened in GCE.

Online Devices Table

Note: The information displayed in the "Online Devices" table is not saved to a configuration.

The "Online Devices" table displays the devices/gateways that have been discovered online from the Discovery Service (SLP). The information displayed in this table is a "snapshot" from the last time GCE received information from each one of the gateways discovered in the table.

This is not a live updating table of the configuration properties. The only column that provides live updates is the "Status" column. To update the properties in the "Online Devices" table, use the "Refresh" feature found in the (Edit) menu, or use keyboard shortcut (Ctrl) + (R). Additionally, you can use the right-click menu option "Refresh".

Any devices that are displayed with a white background have not been added to the "Device Configurations" table. Devices that are included display with a green background for easy reference and to prevent duplications.
