Using Device List
The device list is located in the center of the Network view and provides a listing of all devices that are either already connected to or are expected to be connected to each processor in the configuration. This view also displays other LightDesigner sessions that are discovered online. Reference Session Name for details.
Any action made from the Network view, such as uploading a project, retrieving a project, uploading an Echo configuration, retrieving an Echo configuration, changing an IP address, and retrieving log data are reflected in the device list.
TIP: The "Session Name" that was either provided as the project was created or that has been specified in this Network view is the same "Name" that will be displayed to other online users of LightDesigner when your LightDesigner session is discovered. You can change your own session name any time from this Network view.
Other discovered (online) sessions of Unison Paradigm LightDesigner will display in a section called "LightDesigner Session".
Status Color Coding
The device list provides convenient color coding to represent current status of particular objects and properties.
- Any status field that is highlighted in green denotes that the device is ok.
- Any status field that is highlighted in red denotes a device error that requires your attention.
- Any status field that is highlighted in yellow denotes a device error that is non-critical.
